Daktronics’ Two new EMCs

Daktronics Inc. (Brookings, SD) is launching a new line of Galaxy® message displays, including a text-only display, the Galaxy eCCB. The line also includes a new generation of full-featured graphic and animation displays, the Galaxy GS6, which pairs with a cloud-based software solution.
The eCCB is designed to retrofit into existing, changeable-copy, board structures. Any mobile device with WiFi access can control the display, the company reports. The display uses onsite power to help lower installation costs.
The GS6 product works in full color or monochrome. Customers can choose pixel pitches, including 15.85 mm, which the company states is the tightest 16mm display available. The GS6’s new control solution, the Venus® Control Suite, uses cloud-based software to allow users to access their displays anywhere, anytime and from any device. The software is designed to meet all user needs, from basic to advanced.
