Electricity-Conserving Device

Nevvus Group (Montreal, PQ, Canada) is offering Powergard, a unit that conserves electricity. Powergard plugs into wall outlets and captures energy lost in operation of inductive-motor machines, such as air conditioners, pumps and fans, stores it within its capacitors and recycles it through the electrical system. According to the company, Powergard will save users approximately 10% on their utility bills with an anticipated, 10-year lifespan. The device isn’t recommended for buildings that use more than 6,000 kWh of electricity per month.
