Fawoo Technology Co. Ltd. (Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea) is introducing the LumiSheet-Ad, an LED lighting panel that’s suitable for backlighting applications. The 4- to 8mm-thick, lightweight, gridless panel is available in size ranging from 47 x 33 in. to 39.4 x 27.6 in. The backlight unit incorporates LEDs into the sheet, whereas other backlit units place a lamp on the outside of the light-guide plate, the company states. Proprietary 3D V-cutting technology ensures the light is evenly reflected throughout the acrylic surface according to the light source.
