FDC Graphic Films Acquires Eastex Products

FDC Graphic Films (South Bend, IN) has acquired Eastex Products (Plymouth, MA), a product developer serving textile-based manufacturers. Financial terms were not disclosed.

In a release, FDC said the acquisition will provide for synergies that include FDC’s converting capabilities and warehousing in both South Bend and Reno, NV, as well as Eastex’s supply chain.

FDC, a converter and distributor of graphic film products, was founded in 1988 near Chicago. The company moved its headquarters to South Bend in 1995.

Eastex, founded in 1996, specializes in custom textile solution development and distribution for the healthcare industry. The company has developed a range of technical medical fabrics, neoprene sheeting, and hook and loop fastening systems for medical and orthopedic soft goods manufacturers.
