Grand-Format Printer

Roland DGA Corporation (Irvine, CA) is releasing its AdvancedJET AJ-1000 104-in., grand-format printer. Designed for such high-volume applications as banners, billboards and outdoor signage, the printer offers a maximum production speed of 968 sq. ft./hr. and a precision print mode of 484 sq. ft./hr. Equipped with one-liter ink cartridges for unattended printing and an ink-delivery system that allows cartridge replacement without pausing, the printer handles media rolls up to 220 lbs. It comes with Roland’s Xtreme ink and its VersaWorks RIP software.
