Intl. Sign Assn. Announces New Board

Following on the heels of membership ratification of the ISA Reorganization Plan, ISA has announced its slimmed-down board of directors, from 27 to the current 15. As a way to somewhat bridge the gap, ISA has also announced a new type of volunteer, the program committee chairperson, of which there will be 10. In addition, there will be eight people who will chair subcommittees.

All 15 board members were among the original 27. No one new was appointed, and no one was asked to resign. Board members whose terms had expired were simply not replaced.
Board membership is divided into four categories. The two sign-company categories are one for companies who are direct members of ISA, and the other is for companies that are affiliate members ar the local level. The third category is suppliers/distributors. Finally, there are two unrestricted/at-large seats on the board. The makeup of the four-member Executive Committee remains unchanged.
