ISA and BSGA Form ISA-UK

The Intl. Sign Assn. (ISA; Alexandria, VA) has announced a new partnership, ISA-UK, powered by the British Sign & Graphics Association. ISA-UK will see ISA and the BSGA cooperating on issues common affecting the sign, graphics and visual communications industry, including codes and regulations, research, workforce education and events.

The first instance of working together will have ISA supporting BSGA’s annual British Sign Awards, scheduled for Nov. 8 in Leicester, UK. During the coming months ISA and BSGA will cooperate to maximize the value proposition to both assocaitions’ members. ISA will bolster its education platform to meet the needs of BSGA members. The new joint venture will focus on increasing education to the planner community and leveraging existing research. Both associations also feel that the partnership will help to increase international attendance at the annual ISA Sign Expo.

This partnership is not a merger or a rebranding of BSGA, which will remain a separate entity and will continue to focus on issues specific to the UK visual communications community.
