Signmaking in Miniature

Joshua Smith is a self-taught miniaturist and former stencil artist based in Norwood, South Australia, Australia. According to Smith’s website, his miniatures focus on “the often overlooked aspects of the urban environment.” Smith’s 1:20 scale models don’t expressly spotlight signage, but many of his works feature bygone or vintage signs, as well as murals and street art.
