2018 Makers of Tomorrow

Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, May 1) and running all week, Signs of the Times will release the inaugural Makers of Tomorrow, five profiles on young signmakers driving the signage and graphics industry. Selected from a field of strong applicants, these five Makers are diverse and empowered: a signmaker pursuing new technological developments; a small signshop proprietor with big-league creativity; a fun-loving design maven; a jack-of-all-trades born for the industry; and an accomplished former shop hand whose bet on himself paid off. The future is now for the new generation of signmakers, our Makers of Tomorrow.

The Five Makers

*BJ Barlow of 18 Oaks Sign Co. (McMinnville, OR)

*Pablo Guerrero of Amigo Arts (Monroe, WA)

*Elizabeth Howard of Lola Red Design Group Inc. (San Luis Obispo, CA)

*Eric Linquist of Ramsay Signs (Portland, OR)

*Dan Yoder of Sign Art Studio (Mount Horeb, WI)
