Mimaki Collaborates with Autodesk

Mimaki USA (Suwanee, GA) has announced a collaboration with Autodesk Inc. to present how to bring 3D data from the design, engineering and entertainment industries to life by using Autodesk software and Mimaki full-color 3D technology. Mimaki will be exhibiting this technology at 3D printer exhibitions globally in early summer 2023, according to a press release from the company.

3D data can be brought to life by combining Autodesk Fusion360 / Netfabb software with Mimaki’s 3DUJ-553 and 3DUJ-2207 3D printers, which produce full-color models in more than 10 million colors using UV cured photopolymer resins, also per the release.

Mimaki will be presenting the Autodesk & Mimaki Full-Color World at the following exhibitions in 2023:

  • RAPID+TCT 2023 (Chicago), May 2-4
  • Rapid Tech 3D (Erfurt, Germany), May 9-11
  • EDIX Tokyo (Tokyo), May 10-12
  • TCT 3SIXTY 2023 (Birmingham, England), June 6-8
  • Next Generation 3D Printer Exhibition / Japan Manufacturing World (Tokyo), June 22-24
