Nimlok Earns Master Print Certification

Nimlok (Niles, IL), a tradeshow-graphic provider, is announcing its achievement of G7 Master Print certification. The G7 requirement, widely used in commercial printing, is relatively new to the inkjet-printing market, the company reports. Requirements include defining a colorimetric definition for gray balance, gray-balance specification in midtones and image contrast from highlights to shadows, definition of an ideal colorimetric black and CMY gray-tone image curves, and a step-by-step method for calibrating proofing systems and printers to tone curves.
