Novus Imaging Synergia

Novus Imaging (Louisville, CO) recently introduced two models of its 126-in.-wide Synergia H hybrid press: the Synerg AQ and UV models that image 2,400 dpi (apparent). Equipped with Spectra Q class printheads, the printers emit 10 to 30-pl variable droplets. They feature four-color inks with options for cmW, orange, gray, red, and blue. The machines also features the Caldera Grand RIP+.
In addition, PrinterEvolution, a Novus sister company, announced its Evo33-U upgrade solution for the EFI Vutek 3360 printer. This upgrade of an existing 3360 unit comprises a revised ink-delivery system – with water-based AquaSub33 dye-sub inks or LolSol33 biosolvent inks, as well as industrial-grade variable-drop printheads; a motion-control system; new updated electronics; and a new Windows 7 computer with new interfaces.
