Osram Sylvania (Danvers, MA) has appointed John Adams as the Osram Display/Optic Global Business Manager for Solid State Lighting/LED (SSL/LED) based Entertainment products; Mark DeLorenzo the Display/Optic NAFTA Entertainment Business Manager, and Jack Burwick the Display/Optic SSL/LED NAFTA Product Marketing Manager.
Adams brings more than 30 years of global-market, entertainment-lighting experience. He’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the global strategy and road map for SSL/LED entertainment products and technologies. He will oversee the introduction of SSL/LED technologies and products to the Osram Display/Optic global customer base. Previously, he served as director of product development – luminaires for Vari-lite, CEO/COO of IAG America Inc./IAG China; director of international sales and operations for High End Systems Inc.; and and he ran his own company, Lightfactor sales.
DeLorenzo began with the company in 2006 as the Display/Optic NAFTA Entertainment Product Manager. In his new position, he will direct and lead the NAFTA Entertainment business to achieve targeted sales, marketing, product, customer objectives and overall business growth plans. Additionally, he will be working with OEMs to develop new opportunities for traditional and SSL/LED product, and he’ll be based in Exeter, N.H
Burwick, as the new Display/Optic SSL/LED NAFTA Business Manager, will oversee Display/Optic SSL products and activities in NAFTA. He will be responsible for the growth of the division’s SSL/LED product lines, custom products and capabilities. He’ll be based in Exeter, N.H.
