Palmer Signs Helps Payroll Provider Show its Stripes

Sacramento, CA-based RCBS Payment Service purchased the URL www.paylink.us, and wanted to promote its online moniker with a wrap. Having to compete for national recognition against payroll-company titans such as Paychex and Paycor, it hired Palmer Signs (Roseville, CA) to design and execute the job. Designers Justin “Juice” Lee and Tony Palmer developed the “tiger scheme” using CADLink’s SignLab, Adobe Photoshop and SA Intl. FlexiPrint.

“The customer came to us and said, ‘Just do what you do,’” Palmer said. “The car was a wild shade of bright orange, so the tiger image was a natural. We added shading to the orange to make it look more like tiger’s fur. We created the logo and an entire marketing identity for the company.”

The wrap comprises 3M’s Controltac IJ180Cv3-10 air-release media, which was printed on its Mimaki JV-33 solvent-ink printer.
