Philips Lumileds Hires Tse

Philips Lumileds has hired Alvin Tse, a 15-year lighting-industry veteran as VP of sales in Asia Pacific. He will lead a team of technical, marketing and sales professionals in the region, which is widely expected to be among the fastest growing for solid-state lighting adoption.

Tse began his career at Philips Lighting, where he was responsible for the professional-lighting business in Hong Kong and South China. He has also held various positions in sales management, product marketing and business development in solid-state lighting, and most recently ran the global marketing and sales for Light Engine Ltd.
