Plaskolite Acquires Pexco Extruded Sheet Business

Plaskolite, Inc. (Columbus, OH), a manufacturer of continuously processed acrylic sheet products, has acquired the extruded sheet business of Pexco LLC (Atlanta). Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
 

Mitchell P. Grindley, Plaskolite’s VP of marketing and sales, said, “We will be able to leverage our state-of-the-art production assets by moving the Pexco sheet production to our Ohio (Columbus and Zanesville) and
Mississippi (Olive Branch) facilities.”
 

Founded in 1950 in Columbus by the Dunn family, Plaskolite operates manufacturing facilities in Columbus and Zanesville, OH; Grand Saline, TX; Compton, CA; Olive Branch, MS, and Monterrey, Mexico. Part of Odyssey Investment Partners, Pexco meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and holds
ISO 14001 registration for all of its manufacturing operations, the company reports.
