Roland DGA Announces Major Management Changes

Effective Jan. 1, 2013, Rick Scrimger, formerly vice president of sales and marketing of Roland DGA (Irvine, CA), will replace current Roland DGA President Dave Goward, who has been appointed president of worldwide sales and an executive officer for Roland DG (Hamamatsu, Japan). Goward will continue with Roland DGA through the remainder of 2013 as chief executive officer, and provide strategic guidance. Scrimger will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company and providing critical market insight to Roland DG’s product-development team.

With more than 30 years of senior-level management experience, including 18 years with Roland DGA, Goward has been instrumental in developing the company’s sales, service and distribution organizations, resulting in 600% growth, the company states. Scrimger’s background includes 20 years in product management, marketing and sales, including 15 with Roland DGA. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Pitzer College and an MBA from the UCI Graduate School of Management.
