PolyBrite Secures Brasilia Agreement

PolyBrite Inc. (Chicago) has signed the first Technical Cooperation Agreement with the newly elected government of Brasilia, led by Governor Agnelo Queiroz. (Brazil comprises 26 states and one Federal District, Brasilia, which is also the country’s capital. Brasilia’s government is roughly analogous to a state-level government.)

PolyBrite will install an LED assembly facility in Brasilia to help the government implement a street-lighting system before the 2014 FIFA World Cup. PolyBrite, having met with Governor Agnelo Queiroz and Brazilian business leaders, secured the agreement. A delegation of Illinois businesses traveled to Brazil recently to discuss shared commercial interests.
