Poyant Signs Celebrates 80th Anniversary

Poyant Signs (New Bedford, MA), a third-generation sign company founded in 1938 by Maurice Poyant, is commemorating its 80th year in business. In Poyant’s early years, Maurice called on customers by day and lettered trucks, paper signs and signboards by night. Now, Poyant has 62 employees and engages in a variety of sign types, including electronic signage, LED technology and custom fabrication for clients such as Converse, Dunkin Brands Group, Jersey Mike’s, Reebok and TD Garden.
