Principal Lighting Group and Nichia Corp. Enter into Business Agreement

Principal Lighting Group (PLG; San Angelo, TX) announced that Nichia Corporation and PLG have entered into a mutual business agreement.

Though the terms of the agreement are confidential, a release from PLG stated that the agreement is part of a “strategic roadmap which includes a strong commitment to intellectual property and to further enhance quality assurance, as well as monitor LED lamp sources.” The release also stated that Nichia “has best-in-class LEDs, coupled with a strong patent portfolio.”
