RIP Software With White-ink Workflow

Wasatch Computer Technology (Salt Lake City) has released SoftRIP version 6.2, which features capabilities for white-ink workflows and speed improvements. SoftRIP color-manages images while passing specialty, non-color inks to the printer.

Halftone algorithms have been enhanced, leading to 16-bit color with new, faster RIP times. The new, default, print-queue preference settings let users specify different physical hard drives for storing RIP data.
