Roland DGA Makes Organizational Changes

Roland DGA (Irvine, CA) has made two promotions and one new hire within its sales and customer service operations.

Amado Lara, who has been with the company for the last 30 years and was previously the director of sales, has been promoted to vice president of sales. In his new role, he will oversee sales, business development and product management throughout North and South America as well as DGSHAPE Americas, Roland’s dental solutions division.

Yadira Cepeda, who has been with Roland for 24 years and currently manages the sales development department, will now also oversee the customer service department as director of sales development and customer service. She will focus on implementing new ways for the two departments to enhance the purchase experience for customers.

Additionally, the company has hired Peter Chen as director of service to manage technical support and field service functions. A customer service and tech support veteran with more than 25 years of managerial experience, he most recently served as director of operations and customer support for Tustin, CA-based SEB Professional North America. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing day-to-day technical support and service operations throughout the Americas. He will report to Ron Ball, Roland’s vice president of service.
