Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) announced that four recently launched devices and a special product preview will be on display at the company s booth (#1419) at the International Sign Association s Sign Expo in Las Vegas, April 24-26.
The products to be showcased are the new TrueVIS VG2 series eco-solvent wide-format printer/cutters, the VersaSTUDIO BT-12 direct-to-garment printer, the VersaUV LEF2-200 flatbed UV printer, and the DGSHAPE DE-3 rotary engraver. Roland DGA will also offer a “sneak peek” at the new Texart RT-640M multi-function dye-sublimation printer, prior to its official launch later this year.
Roland’s TrueVIS VG2-540 and VG2-640 are engineered to usher in a new era of wide-format image quality, versatility, productivity and ease of use, per the company. FlexFire printheads jet Roland’s new specially formulated TR2 ink, available in three different configurations with CMYK, plus additional Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black, White or Orange.
The new VersaSTUDIO BT-12, Roland’s first direct-to-garment printer, can print full-color graphics, including photos, logos and text, directly on T-shirts, tote-bags, interior décor items, and more.
Roland’s VersaUV LEF2-200 flatbed UV printer builds upon the VersaUV LEF series’ ability to print full-color graphics and unique textures, including premium finishes such as simulated embossing, onto a vast array of materials and objects up to 3.94 in. (100 mm) thick.
Finally, the DGSHAPE DE-3 rotary engraver adds advanced laser-pointing technology, ethernet connectivity, automatic depth regulation and other enhancements for improved performance and ease of use, per Roland DGA.
The Texart RT-640M is an intelligent, multi-function sublimation printer that gives users the freedom to print on transfer paper or direct to fabric.
