Roland Printer-Cutter Series Supported by GMG

Roland DG Corp. (Hamamatsu, Japan) has announced that a GMG (Tuebingen, Germany) printer driver is available for the VersaUV 330, a UV-LED inkjet printer-cutter. The printer-driver combination can be used to create prototypes, mockups and small-lot production of packaging and labeling. Substrates compatible with the printer-cutter include PE and PET foils, plastic, polycarbonate and others. White Eco-UV ink is available for dark substrates, and clear ink can simulate glossy and matte finishes, the company says.
