Scoring with Software

ANC Sports Enterprises (Purchase, NY) has partnered with the Seattle Mariners to create special features for the 99 x 11-ft., 1,100-sq.-ft. Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision LED video scoreboard at Safeco Field. Statistics appear to slide out and be replaced as if an old-time scoreboard were being manually updated.
Driven by ANC’s patent-pending VisionSoft operating system, the signage seamlessly transitions to dynamic content, such as full-motion team graphics, animations such as “Let’s Hear It” and sponsor acknowledgement. Other features include designating when teams are scoring with red numbers, presenting full-game line scores and how many home runs were hit, and describing what happened on the last play, as well as league-wide information.
"ANC s signage systems provide teams with the capabilities to deliver real-time statistics and premium entertainment in an environment where fans want to be connected to games throughout the league," said Jerome Cifarelli, president and chief executive officer of ANC Sports.
