The Specialty Graphic Imaging Assn. (SGIA; Fairfax, VA) announced that it has joined with manufacturers EFI and Color Management Group to offer intensive, in-person color management training. The Boot Camp as the three entities are calling it, will be held May 8-10 at EFI in Pittsburgh, PA.
SGIA states that attendees will learn from pros how to implement best color management practices. This 2-1/2 day color management training will prepare attendees for all color management battles. Attendees will learn how to linearize, profile, optimize and verify color on all output devices, using EFI Fiery XF, all while we re preparing to take and pass the SGIA Digital Color Professional Certification Program online exam (which is included in the Boot Camp fee).
