Main Street Reunion, a who’s who gathering of U.S. and Canadian signpainters, came to the American Sign Museum (ASM) in Cincinnati on Sunday, March 18 to begin a week of painting windows and walls to decorate the Main Street storefronts that serve as the ASM focal point. The photo was taken outside the museum in the parking lot.
The 27 artisans were assembled by David and Susie Butler (Butler Design, Syracuse, IN). All of them are listed on the event’s web page at www.asmmainstreet.com. They hail from all over the U.S.: Idaho, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Colorado, Iowa, Connecticut, Georgia, New Jersey and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Manitoba. Besides the Butlers, the husband-and-wife teams include Bill and Jane Diaz, and Dave and Robin McDonald. There’s even a father-and-daughter team, Noel and Anna Weber. The new museum’s permanent home is slated to open in late June.
