Sign Pro Hosts Connecticut Governor Lamont

Sign Pro Inc. (Plantsville, CT) announced that Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont visited Sign Pro recently to meet with its president, Peter Rappoccio, his wife, Suzanne Rappoccio and staff (pictured above, in front, left to right).

The purpose of the visit was to discuss items made by manufacturers in Connecticut related to State House Proposed Bill No. 5504 “An Act Concerning the Net Economic Value of State contracts.” The bill was drafted in the 2019 legislative session and recommends that the state hire Connecticut businesses on contracts using state funding as part of state contracting practices. Manufacturers anticipate the bill will be brought before the legislature in the next session.
