Signagelive® Launches 3G, Digital-signage Package

Signagelive®, with 3 UK and Sierra Wireless distributor Westbase Technology, has launched signagelive freedom, a 3G, digital-signage package. The partnership will enable existing signagelive® users and new customers to deliver digital-media content over the largest 3G network in the U.K., the company states.
Westbase Technology will provide a single point of contact for delivering this tailored package. A Sierra Wireless HSUPA router, coupled with 3 UK’s network to deliver content, facilitates rapid deployment. A dedicated network connection direct to the device enables customers to provide a turnkey solution.
Sacha Kakad, Westbase Technology’s managing director, said, “The headache of dealing with and co-ordinating multiple parties when rolling out digital signage has long been a problem for the industry. This collaboration will help address the problem by significantly improving rollout speeds and providing a single point of contact for ongoing management and monitoring.”
Jason Cremins, CEO of Remote Media, the company behind signagelive®, said, “Signagelive resellers and end users can deploy mobile digital signage solutions at a price and performance to rival the use of traditional broadband-connected networks, but without the complications of fixed-wire installations.”
