The September 27 shooting at Minneapolis-based Accent Signage Systems claimed its sixth victim on October 11, when Eric Rivers succumbed to injuries sustained during the shooting.
The victims were Reuven Rahamim, 61, Accent Signage Systems’ founder and a noted pioneer with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant signage for patenting the Raster Braille dot-braille system; Rami Cooks, 62, a longtime Accent employee; Ronald Edberg, 58, a design-production worker at Accent; Jacob Beneke, 34, Accent’s digital-imaging manager; and Keith Basinski, 50, a UPS worker who was on the premises dropping off or collecting deliveries when Engeldinger entered.
A fund has been established to assist the victims’ families. The fund, simply titled Benefit Families of Accent Signage, is handled through the Wells Fargo branch at 615 N 7th St., Minneapolis, MN 55411. Wells Fargo customers may transfer funds to Account # 2275129365
