Summa Inc. (Seattle) is unveiling the F Series F1612 flatbed, vinyl-cutting system. The cutter processes roll-to-roll, sheet and rigid media, and includes a drag-knife tool, tangential knife and cut-out knife, as well as the company’s optical, camera-marker-recognition system, which, according to the company, provides optimal cutting speed and accuracy. The F1612 cuts media up to 1 in. thick, 65 in. wide or 47 in. long at up to 39 in./sec., and offers USB 2.0 connectivity.
