The Sign Industry Convenes at 2016 Sign Expo

The ISA International Sign Expo 2016 will be held April 20-23, 2016, at the Orange County Convention Center, South Building, in Orlando, FL. This year’s theme is “Let’s Get Graphic” and, get this — a new, daily drawing of up to $10,000 will boost the incentive for sign and graphics shops to go home with new printing equipment. Check it out!

The Intl. Sign Assn. (ISA) Sign Expo 2016 has announced that, through March 9, registration for the Expo includes free tradeshow passes and discounted educational session tickets. ISA says educational sessions will help sign and graphics companies see potential in new market opportunities, as well as advancing maximized production methods for illuminated signage, textile printing and digital-print production. A series of project-management and business courses are also on tap.
In addition, a dynamic-digital signage park and the free Lounge and Learn venues offer educational seminars on the show floor. Overall, the Expo will present more than 60 educational sessions (see them at www.signexpo.org). The Expo, with approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of sold-out exhibit space, offers the more than 18,000 attendees to see equipment in use and talk with aproximately 600 manufacturers’ staffs.

Here are some of the many Expo activities:
On Wednesday, April 20, at 11:30 a.m., you’re invited to participate in the ISA/Southern States Sign Assn. Golf Tournament at the Metro West Gold Club (Orlando).
The new, Game Changer Sessions begin on Thursday, April 21, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. There, Seth Mattison, who believes we are entering the greatest period of business transformation the world has even known, will speak on “The Future of Work Today.” On Friday, April 22 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., game changer Kenneth W. Gronbach will present “Charting the Course through Demographic Change.”
Also, on Thursday, April 21, attend the ISA Town Hall Meeting (2:00 to 3:00 p.m.), which will present current issues facing the sign and graphics industry.
Be sure to visit www.signexpo.com for information on The Hub, the ISA Networking Reception for National and Custom Sign Companies, the Young Professionals Happy Hour, the Lounge and Learn event, and the Daily Last Happy Hour.
Importantly, on Thursday, visit B.B. King’s, Point Orlando, for the Nazdar SourceOne-sponsored, ISA Rocks – The Industry Party that features the music of the Blue Stone Circle band. The party takes place from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.; your show badge is required for entry and two drink tickets.
