This Southern Sign Pro Worked Hard at Not Working So Hard

Sabrina Davis
Port City Signs & Graphics
Wilmington, NC

For Sabrina, achieving work-life balance is first about having the right workplace atmosphere, as we all spend more waking hours in the office than at home. She’s worked over the years to grow a smart and supportive team, and to encourage fun and collaboration in the office. “This helps me allow myself more flexibility for quality time with family and friends and doing the things I love,” Sabrina says. Some seasons’ projects require more attention, and it took her years to build in time for recharging. For her that means taking family ski trips, playing tennis, attending concerts and theater performances, walking during the early mornings, reading, being present with her teenagers as they head off to school, and finding time for talks and lunches with friends. “Faith and family ground me,” Sabrina adds. “… and [they] drive me to encourage work-life balance for our team as well.”
