Ultraflex Poster Media

Ultraflex (Randolph, NJ) is presenting Limelight, a substrate that’s printable via UV- or aqueous-ink digital printing, as well as screenprinting and lithographic printing. The waterproof film comprises 80% calcium carbonate and 20% HDPE. According to the company, the media is suitable for backlit or frontlit posters; bus shelters; scrolling signs; and backlight airport signs. According to Ultraflex, Limelight reduces environmental impact because of its “water- and tree-free” manufacturing process, offers high brightness and opacity, and can be recycled in any class 1 or PE plastics system. The company offers 5-mil material for UV-ink, screenprinting and lithographic printing in 50-in.-wide, 328- or 13,776-ft.-long rolls; 7-mil, aqueous media, sold in 50-in.-wide, 328- or 9,840-ft.-long rolls; and 12-mil UV-ink, screenprinting and lithographic media in 44-in.-wide, 328- and 4,920-ft.-long rolls.
