UniNet (Hawthorne, CA) has announced the iColor 540, a new single-pass digital transfer printer.

According to UniNet, the iColor 540 is powered by a white printing technology that meshes full color with the ability to print images with white as an underprint or an overprint in one pass, made possible with the introduction of single-pass technology.

The iColor 540 has applications for signage, garments, hard surface, labels, banners, decals and more. It comes equipped with iColor’s ProRIP transfer software, and prints five colors (CMYK+white). The iColor® 540 processes on a variety of materials and color backgrounds, namely cotton, polyester, vinyl, leather and more.
