US Sign and Fabrication Corp. (Trumbull, CT) is supplying PlatePlus dimensional letters, which use prefinished sheet material rather than casting letters from solid materials. Letters from 2 to 48-in. tall can be manufactured with polished returns and blended edges. The company says PlatePlus allows for cheaper production and a lighter-weight product as compared to letters that are cut or cast from solid metals. Stainless-steel, brass, copper and titanium materials are available with a variety of finishes, including polished, satin, non-directional and others.
Letters are available in widths between 1/4 and 3/4 in., with a 3/16-in. minimum stroke.
