Vanguard Digital Printing Systems Founding Partner Dies

Vanguard Digital Printing Systems (VDPS; Suwanee, GA) has announced the recent passing of founding partner Jim Case.

Case, along with Dave Cich and Jim Peterson, formed VDPS in 2015. According to the company, Case was a “larger-than-life figure who brought his remarkable passion, energy and experience to the large-format industry.”

Case left his position as East Coast Sales Director at CET Color (where he worked under Cich) to join VDPS. “Jim was a friend, marketing genius, customer advocate, mentor, top sales contributor and key business partner,” said Cich, who is majority owner and president of VDPS. “I cannot say just how much we will miss him.”

Case is survived by his wife, Robin, as well as his family and close friends.
