Xaar, Wallpen GmbH Announce Wallpen Printer

Xaar (Cambridge, England) and Wallpen GmbH (Wissen, Germany) have launched the Wallpen printer, a mobile, large-format UV printer system designed to print pictures and graphics directly onto walls and vertical surfaces.

The Wallpen prints on a multitude of substrates, including concrete, glass, metal, plaster, plastic, stone, tiles, wallpaper and wood. It can cover up to four sq. m/hr. at a resolution of 370 x 600 dpi. A four-color printer, the Wallpen uses a laser to adjust for surface imperfections.
