3M Commercial Solutions (St. Paul, MN) is debuting Envision™ FS-1, a flexible substrate that’s designed for use with LED illumination. According to the company, the material transmits twice as much light as 3M’s Panagraphics™ III, which allows manufacturers to build signs that require less energy and maintenance, the company states. 3M recommends using Envision FS-1 with its Envision 3730 translucent film and Scotchcal 3658G or 3660M (gloss- and matte-finish, respectively) overlaminates.
