AP Corp Acquires Solar Tint Inc.

AP Corp (Sykesville, MD) has acquired Miami-based window tinting company Solar Tint Inc., according to a press release. The acquisition of one of the only 3M window film dealers in the Greater Miami area will expand AP Corp’s reach in Florida, as well as in Maryland and North Carolina.

“Three years ago, we began laying the foundation at AP Corp to grow our presence significantly through acquisitions, and we are excited to enter the Miami market with a brand as established and highly regarded as Solar Tint Inc.,” AP Corp CEO Bill Valway is quoted in the release.

The company specializes in commercial window film and graphic solutions. It previously acquired Carolina Solar Security (Wilmington, NC) in 2021.

“After 32 years of running Solar Tint Inc., I am ready to take a step back and have more time for myself, but I am still eager to see the company grow,” former Solar Tint owner Robert Flores is quoted in the release. “Bill Valway and I have a lot in common, and I am confident he and his team at AP Corp are the right people to take our company to the next level. I look forward to staying actively involved with Solar Tint as much as possible and I am excited to see the company move forward.”
