Borealis Lights up the Bird

Entrances to the Beijing Olympics

|2676| (Napierville, IL) is announcing its Borealis Modular Lighting System (MLS) was installed in the channel letters for the entrances into the Beijing National Stadium, which is popularly called the Bird’s Nest, for the 2008 Olympic Games. The 10-ft. 2-in.-tall letters, A through L, will designate each stadium section.

The Birds Nest will host the opening and closing ceremonies, athletics and football events. PolyBrite and TRYCOOL Logo & Sign Products Co. (Beijing) were awarded the contract to install the Red Borealis MLS Systems inside the entrance-way letters.

Carl Scianna, PolyBrite’s president and CEO, said, “The color of the Red Borealis MLS System complements the red and steel scheme of the Bird’s Nest perfectly.”
