Litetronics Intl. Inc. (Alsip, IL) is releasing its Micro-Brite R20 cold-cathode fluorescent lamp with up to 90% energy savings versus incandescent light sources, the company reports. The product can be used in time-and-temperature displays, message-center signs, track lighting and in restaurants. It’s offered in various colors and can be used indoors and outdoors.

Shaped like an incandescent, the lamp is reportedly durable, flashable and resistant to color shifts. Available in 2700K, 4000K, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and pink, it can be exposed to temperatures ranging from -20
