Busy transit hub glows red, white and blue throughout 4th of July weekend

Clear Channel Outdoor’s (NYSE: CCO) Boston office and Equity Office, the commercial-property owner that manages Boston’s South Station, have joined forces to create a red, white and blue lightshow in celebration of our nation’s birthday throughout the July 4th holiday weekend. The patriotic tribute will greet commuters and those visiting the city via South Station from Wednesday, July 2 through Sunday, July 6.

The exterior façade of the building will be aglow in the colors of Old Glory to represent American pride and support for our troops. South Station’s specialized LED lighting system, which has the ability to create custom light shows with over 16 million colors, will be used for the lighting.

Clear Channel Outdoor-Boston became the official advertising media provider for South Station, one of Boston’s two busiest transit hubs, in January 2014.
