Clear Channel Spectacolor Launches Times Square Sign

Double-sided blade sign viewing distances extend to 56th St.

In May 2009, Clear Channel Spectacolor introduced the Times Square Sign© at 47th St. and Broadway. The 150 x 12-ft., double-sided blade sign soars more than 250 ft. above Broadway. The sign’s viewing distances stretch along Broadway from Herald Square to as far north as 56th St. The initial creative execution posted on the location serves as a placeholder that provides potential buyers an example of its effectiveness.

Times Square pedestrians and visitors can submit a digital photo of themselves, friends or family in front of the new sign to www.TimesSquareSign.com. for a chance to win a night out on Broadway for two. Two Grand prizes winners will receive two tickets each to a Broadway show and dinner for two at The Hard Rock Café in Times Square. The first hundred entrants will receive a complementary Times Square Sign T-shirt. Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, photographic quality, and use of The Times Square Sign©.

Clear Channel Spectacolor is a division of the outdoor-advertising company Clear Channel Outdoor.
