During its 2012 International Sign Expo, the Intl. Sign Assn. (ISA) revealed the winners of its 2012 Sign Design Competition. Clear Sign & Design Inc. (San Marcos, CA) submitted the ISA’s grand-prize winner, which also prevailed in the Freestanding Electric Signs category. Clear Sign & Design fabricated a pole-mounted exit sign for the renowned San Diego Zoo. The LED-lit halo sign features a macaw sculpture; the bird’s wings span 13 ft., and move up and down in unison.
