Delcam (Windsor, ON, Canada) is introducing its ArtCAM 2010 software for various, 3-D signage applications. Offerings include ArtCAM Express for entry-level, CNC machining; ArtCAM Insignia for production machining, and ArtCAM Pro for advanced design and manufacturing. Signmakers may customize the program’s interface to enable quicker access to key commands. The software also features enhanced sculpting tools that allows users to add more intricacies to their designs, as well as remove material using tools of varying thickness and strength. Insignia and Pro offer toolpath templates that allow cutting and machining parameters to be applied to individual layers within an imported file, with one-click calculations available.
