EcoTek Lighting (Lake Forest, CA), a division of Expotrans Inc., received the Harvey Mudd College Green Engineering Certificate of Merit at the TechAmerica High-Tech Innovation Awards on May 14, 2009. Now in its 16th year, the event celebrates excellence and achievement in the region's technology industry, and honors companies that drive innovation in Orange County and the Inland Empire.

EcoTek Lighting was honored for its achievements last year as a leader in its corporate-wide philosophy that focuses on saving the Earth's resources by producing environmentally-friendly products, using nontoxic materials in manufacturing processes and product packaging, and through its eco-friendly LED lighting technology.

Ecotek Lighting provides high-performance menuboards, light boxes, poster frames and custom displays using LED illumination.
