Esko (Ghent, Belgium) is announcing its Esko Suite 12.1 software that comprises standard workflow templates for such typical applications as signs and labels. Also, when used in conjunction with Esko’s PackEdge or ArtPro software’s on-press, visual-inspection system, you can reduce machine set-up (across one or multiple presses) by defining job areas. The Suite also features trapping support, a barcode and braille reader, and an automated gang-run system for large-format flatbed printers. Esko says automated, gang printing helps control costs on collected short-run orders.
