FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division (Hanover Park, IL) announced the company s third generation J Press 750S, available in North America by the end of 2018. The press offers an unsurpassed level of productivity, according to the company, generating 3,600 B2 sheets per hour, for both static and variable jobs, with a new maximum sheet size of 23 x 29.5 in. (585 x 750 mm).

The J Press 750S features FUJIFILM Dimatix Samba™ printheads along with a 6-up letter size imposition and increased speed, double the output of the previous version. This is all accomplished while reducing the overall footprint by 15% and reducing energy consumption by 23%.

The J Press 750S is intended for higher-end commercial print work and also to answer the need for short run commercial print work, according to the company. Most signage applications being run on the J Press would be retail POP and smaller signage and graphic applications.
