GE Lumination’s Tetra PowerMAX LED Lighting System

Lumination (Cleveland, OH), a subsidiary of the General Electric Co., is introducing the Tetra® PowerMAX LED lighting system for large channel and reverse halo letters and multi-color signs. The LED system, which combines bright, white-light output and uniformity across sign faces, features a simple, two-wire installation and operates on a 12V power supply, with only one output lead.

The company’s OptiLens™ lens technology helps distribute bright white light towards the sign face in a broad, 125-degree pattern and helps the product work at depths as shallow as 4 in. The system further facilitates installation via pre-drilled mounting holes, 3M VHB™ industrial-grade mounting tape and off-the-shelf components such as 18 AWG (0.82 sq. meters) wire and standard wire connectors. The system, which is available in white (6,500K) and warm white (3,000K), is suitable for retail stores, restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, groceries, casinos, hospitality venues, shopping centers and strip malls.
